Earlier in August, Quantize submitted their song Paddington Queen (written by Jack O'Donoughue, mixed and produced by Joe Kiely, with music video directed and produced by Joe Kiely, and performed by Jack, Joe, and Courtney, with Deb Jourdain as the Paddington Queen!) to the Sydney Vision Song Contest.
Paddington Queen made it to the Grand Final, held at Dendy Cinemas, and was awarded second place. Quantize have been offered the wonderful opportunity of performing at the Newtown Music Festival, on November 9th 2014. Jack, Joe, Deb, and Courtney, had a wonderful time at the Grand Finals, and are looking forward to performing Paddington Queen in Newtown! I totally understand why people are going crazy over singing contests. It's engaging and you get to see extra-ordinary talents that's why many people are frustrated when they were not lucky enough to have a good singing voice, or were not able to train while they were young. Sydney Vision Song Contest is a good opportunity for great lyricist in Australia. I am happy to know that Paddington Queen made it to the finals.
